Saskatchewan PNP points are awarded on the basis of five factors including:
Factor 1: Age
You must be below the age of 50 years before or at the time of submitting your application for the Saskatchewan PNP occupation demand list.

Factor 2: Education
| Qualification | Points |
| Masters or Doctorate degree, | 23 |
| Bachelor’s degree OR a three or more year degree program | 20 |
| Trade certification | 20 |
| Canadian equivalency Diploma that requires two but less than three years at a university, college, trade or technical school. | 15 |
| Canadian equivalency Certificate or at least two semesters but less than a two-year program | 12 |
Factor 3: Work Experience (Maximum 15 points)
You need to ensure that you must have a minimum of 3 years of full-time, paid, relevant work Experience in the nominated occupation, please note for points purpose experience counts from the past 10 years. The work experience claimed must be relevant to the single occupation you’ve selected in your application.
