Documents required for Immigration

• (Education Credential Assessment) ECA report along with copies of completed degree/diploma/certificate. An Eca is required to apply for Canadian immigration. CIC has designated a list of bodies for the assessment. The organizations are:
  • World Education Services (WES), (International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS), Comparative Education Service (CES), University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS), International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES)
  • Professional bodies that assess foreign educational credentials are: Medical Council of Canada (MCC); and
  • Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC).
• PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) A police clearance certificate is a statement that you don’t have a criminal record. Police clearance certificates are different in each country. They may be called: judicial record extracts, police clearance certificates, Good Conduct Certificate. If the PCC is in a different language, then you need to send a translation certificate along with the PCC.
• Medical Certificate is also a mandatory document for the Canadian PR. Medical results are valid for 12 months only. You can’t go directly for the medical exam, IRCC will send the instruction letter then only you need to go for the test.
• Personal Documents (Passport, Proof of funds, marriage certificate, photographs, work experience document’s identity card, driving license, and more.) it is mandatory to submit the documents as per the ITA checklist. If one has failed to submit the documents, then one can see the rejection.
